Things I Don't Say About Him 1 (Collection of Thoughts)
1. I have seen his rough and smooth edges. The easy and the difficult. And I don't know which one is more beautiful. His smile or his scars. His laughs or his tears. His good attributes or his faults. Nevertheless, I love everything of what he is.
2. I have seen him crumple. It was heavy. It was hurting him. He may not say it, but I know he's broken. I wish I was there, or he was here. Not to ease the pain, but to make it less painful. To make it at least bearable.
3. And in a place full of people, I'd always look for his eyes to meet mine. His hair was cut cleanly, giving him a regal appearance that emphasized him well. He look different. So damn different. But I'd always recognize him. That man, my soul knows he's someone familiar.

4. He may not know it, but I always talk to God about him. I'd tell Him about how great he is. How he makes my heart feel warm and secure. How I feel dense when he tells me words of affirmation. How contented I am when he is around. I may not say it, but he's always in my prayers.

5. We may live life differently, but I always think about him. When I'm reading, I'd always vision ourselves together. What a pleasure it would be to have him by my side as I walk down the street. Big things, small things I always remember him. He never left my mind, not even far from it.

6. He's not only the title of my prose, he's the every word of it. He's not only the character of what I read, he's the entire book. He's not only a prayer, he's an answered prayer.
7. He doesn't take me on dates often. He's busy with things that he can't even text me every minute of the day. He doesn't give me expensive gifts, or extravagant surprises. But he always make me feel important. He updates me when he can. He gives me gifts with deep meaning, leaving me dumbfounded every time. He may not be here to make me smile every single time, but at least, he doesn't make me cry.

8. I was completely unsure. It was extremely difficult to trust. To be vulnerable and open about your life. I was terrified of the idea of having someone. But he made me feel what it was like to be loved without fear. He showed me how he loves me unconditionally, with no restriction and reservation. He assures me that his future includes me, that his only goal in life is to take care of me.
9. He wasn't the best guy out there, he wasn't the most romantic either. But he was there when it's 3 am and I couldn't sleep. He was there when my world was falling apart. He was there when no one else was. His presence will always be the best for me.
10. I don't really need him. I can breathe without him. But there something about him that inspires me. He showed me a side of myself that I have never known. He allowed me to grow from struggles and have patience in all things. Yes, I don't need him to exist. But I needed him to grow, to be better me.
