Why I'll Pray For You




I'll pray for you because I want God to prepare you. I beseech God to shape you into the person He desires you to be. To be the person who causes others to see God in you. To be the person who spreads His love like wildfire. To be the person who is self-assured while remaining humble enough to admit one's flaws. That despite all of your insecurities and shortcomings, you choose to believe that you are enough and that you are good as you stare blankly in the darkness of your room. I'll pray for you so that when God's appointed time comes, you and I will be ready to serve Him.


I'll pray for you because that's what I can do for now. I'm not sure if I've met you, or if we passed each other on a parallel route. Maybe we exchanged a fleeting glance in the middle of a busy street. Maybe we're friends who haven't realized we're going to happen. I can't kiss you, hug you, or hold your hand yet, and all I can do is pray for you, my love. And I know what I'd rather do: I'll pray for you because I'm not sure how I can console you or protect you when the people around you aren't being true.

I'll pray for you because I want you to trust His timing. Since the day I realized I could bring you to prayer, I've given God my word to trust His timing, His will, and His love, and I want you to do the same. He makes everything beautiful in His time, and I know He'll bless us with a lovely love. Our time may not be His time, so I'm hoping we can wait until He gives us what is ours.

I'll pray for you because I want God to strengthen you. May God provide you with the strength to persevere when circumstances appear hopeless. When it feels that everything is going wrong. May He grant you the knowledge to see the best in the worst of circumstances and the light in the darkest of times. May he give you the strength to get back up when you fall, to try again with hope after each failure, and to love with all your heart after each heartbreak. May He grant you the clarity you require to recognize the truth behind certain events and individuals, allowing you to go forward in peace and without looking back.

I'll pray for you because you might need it right now. You may be unwell, exhausted, or spiritually depressed, and you must fight a variety of battles. I can't save you, nor can I help you, nor can I console you; all I can do is pray for you. Do not be anxious; God is in charge. I understand that the future may appear hazy at this time. You could have a broken heart or be in the midst of an unrequited love affair. Go ahead and cry your heart out, then turn everything over to God. We'll meet soon, and I'm sure all the heartaches will be irrelevant.

I'll pray for you because I'm really looking forward to meet you. I've read romance books, watch romantic movies, listen to my friends' love stories, so I'm so excited of the idea of love. As I grew older, however, I discovered that love is not as simple as it was when I was a child. The world is full of deceivers and individuals who take love and purity for granted. They live each minute as though it were their last. That's why I'm looking forward to seeing you—to prove to them that true love exists and that the wait was quite worth it. I'm looking forward to seeing your face and capturing even your most bizarre poses. I'm thrilled to hear your voice, smell your perfume, and utter your lovely name. I'll listen to any story you have because you're my most, most favorite creation of God.

Finally, I'll pray for you because I love you. I haven't seen you yet, but I know I will someday, and I know I will love you with all the ways God intends me to. I'm not sure what the future holds for us. I'm not sure if our route will be smooth or fraught with ambiguity. But I'll undoubtedly see you when God's stars are aligned. I'll keep praying until you're finally mine, because that's how it should be—I should always pray for the people I love . I also pray that He show me how to take care of you in both good and bad times, that He give me the strength and courage I need to be the best woman I can be for you.

I'll pray for you in all ways possible, and I hope you're praying for me too. I will be a woman of God to deserve a man of God like you.
