Why You Should Have Friends Like Mine

They will help you nourish your soul. They are friends who will help you grow in the Lord. With them, you can serve and trust God with all your heart. You can help each other out in your pursuit of the knowledge and ways of God. You will know some things about God that they may not know, and they will know some things that you may not know. Thus, are able to help contribute to each other’s storehouse of knowledge in the Lord.

They can be your second home. They'll be your go-to life guides, the ones who can be your therapist without spending a penny. They'll be the place you go to when you desperately need a sense of security and familiarity. The ones who have your back, and you reciprocate by doing the same for them. Your friendship will never get cold. It will never become strange. You can tell them about any problem you have, and they will never regard you as weak, annoying, or overly emotional, and they will never judge you as flawed. You can create any type of adventure with them, and they will commit to joining you.

Their presence has the ability to make you the happiest. Maintaining friendship is difficult. It requires a great deal of effort and sacrifice. It'll test your understanding, patience and sympathy. It'll also make you enraged, depressed, and hurt at times. It will, however, make you laugh, smile, and feel content. It will make you grateful for having them in your life and being part of theirs.

They will always make you feel that you always belong. You will never feel alone or left out. You won't have to spend your lifetime looking out for them; instead, they'll let you know that you can rely on them, that you can trust them, and that they can speak on your behalf when your own voices aren't heard. When you need them the most, they won't think twice about coming to you. They'll free their schedules and drop everything at once. They won't make any excuses. In a world full of'maybes,' they will be your 'certain yes.'

They will be your prominent supporter. They will have the loudest clap even in your smallest victories. They will take your success as theirs and your failure as theirs too. They always support your dreams and aspirations, and reassure you – even when you struggle to believe in yourself. They will push you to aim for the stars, even if that means you have to compromise your time with them. They don’t tolerate your toxic behavior and helped you to become a better person, you wouldn’t be who you are if it wasn’t for their help.

They will never use your secrets against you.Your dirty little secrets will never be shared with anyone. They'll keep them close to their hearts, telling you that they value your trust. No matter what happens, your secrets are safe with them.

They are honest to tell you what you need to hear. Do you remember the guy you used to date? They don't like him, and they were not afraid to say so. The shirt that doesn't suit you, the dress that was so revealing, the action that was aggressive, they were not quite about it. They tell you exactly the things you need to hear. They don't sugar coat. They don't say things that don't help you.

They can act as an anchor for you as you sail through life's seas. They're ready to confront any challenge beside you and to shove all the crap out of the way. They make certain that your route is clear of anything that isn't in your best interests. You'll be grateful to them for being aware and caring about you.

They are selfless. They don't think about themselves that much. They will go out of their way for you, even if it is inconvenient for them. They will assist you in ways that you will never be able to repay. They will love you as much as how they love their selves. You are their sister. You're a family. They can do everything as long it is good for you.

To the few friends I have, I can't thank God enough for you. You have been my constant anchor in this crazy adventure. I wouldn't even survive anything without your love and care. I have been one of the luckiest to have you guys.  This always have been a hell-kind of a journey, but you made it bearable.Thank you for allowing me to feel what true friendship is. Thank you for being my constant in this world full of changes.
