Why She's Asking You To Wait

 



"For everything, there is a proper time. There is a right time for every activity under heaven."-Ecclesiastes 3:1

She's asking you to wait because she knows for a fact that true love is always worth the wait. It isn't something you rush over time. It takes time. It requires so much patience and perseverance. Because rushing, most of the time if not always, leads to greater pain and heartache. So, she's protecting the both of you from unwanted pain.


"When the time is right I,the Lord will make it happen." -Isaiah 60:22

She's asking you to wait because she knows you're both not ready to commit yet. You've got dreams, you've got plans and she doesn't want to place it on vain. You're still working to become better persons. You still have priorities that need to be met than dating that can certainly wait. She doesn't want you to fall short of the greatness you will become. She doesn't want to distract you. She's making sure you have your focus set on the right direction.


"Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate." -Mark 10:9

She's asking you to wait because she wants you to seek God first. She wants you to allow God to live with you, having His way and His will in your life. By doing so, you learn what it means to truly love someone other than yourself, and it prepares you for true romantic love later in life. She's drawing you closer to God, not depart from Him so she's giving you the necessary time.


"Be completely humble and gentle; Be patient, bearing with one another in love."
- Ephesians 4:2

She's asking you to wait because she wants the both of you to grow, so when the God's appointed time comes, you'll deserve each other. You can love each other rightly. Growing is a necessary part of the preparation process. So you should learn and grow as much as you can so that you will be ready when it's time.


"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs."
-1 Corinthians 13:4-5

She's asking you to wait because she wants to make sure it will survive even at the test of time. Love will never be easy, it will get tough at some point.She don't want to dive on temporary relationships. She wanted to make sure that you will have a successful relationship filled with love, respect, patience and trust because of transparent, open, strong, prepared, and knowledgeable mindset.

She asks you to wait because she was thinking about you, about your future. She will not date you out of nothing. She will date to marry you. She's not rushing it because you still have lifetime to enjoy. So wait for her. Wait for each other. She's worth it. Your love for each other is worth it.

She asks you to wait because you're the one for her and she's making sure both of you will last forever.

The way her lips form a grin, the genuine joy in her laughter, the flicker in her eyes when she's lost in her world of creativity.
