  There are so many things I want to say and so many thoughts I want to convey. So, I guess I'll start by just saying this: thank you. Thank you because you gave me the chance to become an elder sister, a mother, a protector and an adviser. Being your sister is one of the most important aspect in my life, and it has always been my favorite. It has always been a matter of pride for me. My love, please know that you've always been strong, responsible, caring and far more mature than your age. I have always loved your quirks, your humor and the way you make others feel better. Don't allow those things to be taken away from you. Sometimes I'd look at you and wish that I can tell you everything so you don't have to go through so many troubles in this lifetime. But I will be assured knowing I can rest on you.  Lord if I fail, allow me to see the purpose and your plans for me. I am aware that things will not always go as planned, that my path will be fraught with setbacks and obstacles, and that I will not always know where to go.   They will help you nourish your soul. They are friends who will help you grow in the Lord. With them, you can serve and trust God with all your heart. You can help each other out in your pursuit of the knowledge and ways of God. You will know some things about God that they may not know, and they will know some things that you may not know. Thus, are able to help contribute to each other’s storehouse of knowledge in the Lord.  They can be your second home. They'll be your go-to life guides, the ones who can be your therapist without spending a penny. They'll be the place you go to when you desperately need a sense of security and familiarity. The ones who have your back, and you reciprocate by doing the same for them. Your friendship will never get cold. It will never become strange. You can tell them about any problem you have, and they will never regard you as weak, annoying, or overly emotional, and they will never judge you as flawed. You can create any type of adventure...

  In this season of waiting for you, I'm going to learn to love myself, since you can't fully love and accept another person until you fully love and accept yourself. I'm going to work on my inner demons and take the steps necessary to mend the areas where I haven't yet. I'm going to stop hurling obscenities at myself over my appearance. I'm going to quit comparing myself to others and feeling like I'm falling short. I will stop behaving as if I'm a burden to those who care about me.
